Dog Daycare Services
Here at Home on the Ranch Dogs, "We Do Daycare, Differently!" We are an enrichment focused, small-group daycare and small-scale home-style boarding that prioritizes the safety and well-being of your pet - mentally AND physically. We understand just how important it is to foster safe experiences for dogs, and not just flood them with excitement and raised cortisol levels.

Does your dog enjoy social play in small groups? We can do that!

Does your dog prefer solitary walks and quiet times in the shade with a human? We can do that!

Does your dog prefer to be paired up with only one other neutral dog? We can do that!

Is your dog better off on a long-line with walks in a quiet back field with no distractions? We can do that!

Is your dog e-collar trained and needs to RUN off leash? We can do that!
We will consider all types of dogs, big and small, nervous or outgoing - even in-tact males, rescue cases and reactive dogs may all be welcome! We know our limits and strengths, and we're happy to do a free evaluation of your dog to see if we're a good fit.
During the muddy seasons, please remember that we are a primarily outdoor facility and so it is likely that your dogs will be a bit dirty going home!
Boarding and Extended Care
We know just how tough it is to leave your pets behind, and while it may seem easier to bring someone into your home, it oftentimes leaves your dogs alone for extended hours with lonely nights. Here at Home on the Ranch Dogs, your dogs are treated just like our own - in a home-like setting. No lonely nights, no warehouses full of kennels with dozens of other barking dogs... just a quiet, comfy, home atmosphere with lots of human interaction.
If your dogs would like, they are welcome to participate in our Daycare activities - but they aren't required to and we can easily keep them separated and provide activities to nourish their mind and body in individual ways.
We will consider all types and sizes of dogs, but please be transparent with us if your dog has ever exhibited reactivity to small children, aggression to cats, or other dogs, so that we can make an accurate assessment of whether or not we would be a good fit for one-another.

Standard Boarding (Less Than a Month)
Our basic overnight boarding is billed by the night (like a hotel!) - drop off and pickups are anytime during our normal business hours. We welcome your dogs to stay a full day on their last day, giving you time to relax and unwind!
Less Than 5 Nights, $60/night/dog
5 - 20 Nights, $55/night/dog

Extended Vacations, 21 days +
Going away for awhile? Extended Work or Vacation Trip? Don't worry, we've got you!
We offer a discounted nightly rate of $45/night/dog for those stays that are 3 weeks (21) days or more.

Guests with Special Needs
We realize that not every dog is going to be a neutral, maintenance free pup - and that's ok! We have considerable experience in managing those that need a little extra consideration. We take on ONE special needs dog/family at a time to ensure adequate handling:

Dog Reactive / Dog Selective: For dogs that cannot be socialized with others at all, or with extreme moderation and may need to have separate spaces to eat/sleep/play/walk etc. +$15/night

Medical Intake: For dogs that have extensive medical needs, injections or multiple medications - ex: epileptic dogs, diabetics needing injections, dogs that need extra monitoring (frequent potty issues/vomiting/diarrhea) etc. + $10/night

Puppies Under 6 Months Old: For puppies under 6 months old we will continue your pup's crate training, potty training and leash training skills; while taking special consideration for socialization with other dogs to ensure they come away with only positive experiences. +$10/Night

In-Season Females: For the sweet girls who are in season - we maintain their hygiene with sanitary diapers/feminine pads, keep them away from in-tact males (while still giving them appropriate play and yard time!) and watch for possible UTI's. + $5/night
